I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Hershey Park. Even though we live in PA, it’s still quite a bit of a drive from where we are. Now that Grady is at the age where he can really enjoy the activities there – we’ll definitely be making a trip this summer! We’ve even been practicing at smaller amusement parks closer to us, and I think he’s ready for the big time! I think he’ll be excited for all the kiddy rides and the CHOCOLATE…..of course!
Since Hershey Park is a great family destination, I’m hoping that Eric’s family in NJ can make the short trip and have some fun with us there. Eric and his dad would enjoy all the rides, while Grady and his cousin would love the steam locomotive, the new sprayground (water!), the Children’s Garden, and of course – the carousel.
I’d love to walk through ZooAmerica with Haley and I know Eric’s mom would love to go through Hershey Chocolate World. That’s where I’d be if I could eat chocolate! Maybe I could indulge in the Chocolate Spa and not eat any. Or better yet, we could enlist Eric’s parent’s to watch the kids while we enjoy a nice dinner at The Circular – the iconic dining room at the Hotel Hershey.
Eric loves camping so I think a stay at the Hershey Highmeadow Campground would be in order. Plus, I think it would be a great place to relax after a fun filled day in the park. And a concert would just top off the trip. At the young age of almost 3, Grady’s already a budding Dave Matthew’s fan, so I think I’ll be planning our trip around their performance on July 13th!
If you live within a few hours driving distance to Hershey Park, then you must get there this summer. We’ll definitely be making the 2 hour drive there (hopefully in July). It’s so worth the drive time to experience it all! And if you live a little further – still totally worth it. I’d make a whole family vacation out of it – camping and all!
