I tend to only use fitted cloth diapers at night. They’re super absorbant and I just don’t need that much absorbency during the day. But boy, do I need that absorbency at night! Haley is a super soaker. Her diapers are always saturated by morning and Grady’s at the point where I just can’t tell what he’s going to do. He’s learning how to hold his pee – so sometimes he wakes up dry and sometimes he doesn’t. I always just assume he’ll wake up wet and put him in something that will hold it all. Well….I’ve found my new favorite fitted!

The Little Comfort Bambee OS Bamboo Fitted Cloth Diaper (long name, right?!) is trim but absorbant. I don’t feel like I’m giving him a HUGE fluffy bum just to save the sheets. This diaper works just as well as my other bulky fitteds but with half the bulk. And I think it’s more comfortable for him, too. It’s actually the softest fitted I have. And it keeps getting softer every time I wash it.

Ready for the diaper details?

  • Made from Unbleached Bamboo – Natural fibers like this DO require repeated washings to prep the diaper before use to release the natural oils in the diaper. Wash separately from your other diapers to avoid transferring oils. We use the same laundry detergent for our clothes – so I like to prep natural fiber diapers with our regular laundry. Helps keep the laundry from piling up while I prep!
  • Lined with a Bamboo Cotton Fleece to wick away moisture from your baby’s skin. I swear I think this helps babies sleep longer. No one likes to feel wet, you know?
  • One Size (OS) – Advertised to fit from birth to potty. I didn’t get this diaper until Haley was already out of the newborn stage so I can’t say for sure, but I don’t think it would have fit her at birth. At 8 months she’s still wearing the diaper with the rise folded and snapped down and there aren’t too many waist snaps. Grady (2 and 1/2) wears the diaper unsnapped and still has plenty of room in the waist. If you have a chunkier baby you can purchase waist extenders if you need them.

  • 2 Snap in Soakers – you can use 1 or both. I like to use both at night and I don’t think it adds any bulk to the diaper. They snap together and snap in to the diaper so there’s no shifting. Definite bonus.

I like this diaper for both kiddos. I get a good fit on both and I haven’t had any wet sheets yet with either child, but I almost always put this diaper on Grady when it’s clean. I’m not sure why, but I do! I think it’s just because he seems to like it and pulls it out. :) He’s not a willing diaper model anymore though – so you get shots of the diaper on Haley.

  2. LOVE natural fibers and fitteds! These look trimmer than others I’ve tried. You little lady is just adorable as always :)

  3. This is off topic, but is that an Amber teething necklace? If so, how do you like it? My kiddo’s teeth are giving him fits and I’m considering getting one.

We love fitted diapers at our house for nighttime. Will have to look for this brand.

    • Yes, it is! We love them. I use them with both Grady (2 1/2) and Haley (8 months). I really do think they help, as they both seem less fussy when they have them on. Even if it’s all in my head, I still think they just look adorable on them!

  4. ginger g. says:

  17. I would love to try this diaper. The fact that it is trim makes it better than some but I also like that it is made from unbleached bamboo and lines with a Bamboo Cotton Fleece plus it has 2 snap in soakers that offer the option to use one or both but that if both are used they snap together to prevent shifting. I also love the fact that it is one size so that it fits from birth to potty training. Ultimately, this sounds like a great diaper!
