La Bella Donna Minerals on the GO! [Review]

I don’t wear a lot of makeup. Mainly because I’m a SAHM and I spend most of my days at home with my 2 kids. They could care less what I look like, LOL. I do *try* to at least wear some foundation/concealer type stuff to cover up the fact that I’m severely sleep deprived. I exclusively use mineral makeup – it’s better for your skin than the thick creamy foundations filled with who-knows-what. I’ve been trying out La Bella Donna Minerals on the GO! and I’m pretty impressed.

It’s very lightweight, goes on easily, and the color’s nice. It’s a little darker than what I expected. It’s hard to pick the right color when you’re online and not in person – but as long as I do a light dusting it looks great! If I go too heavy, it looks like I’m wearing bronzer. That’s hard for my fair skin to pull off during the winter! I was going to post a before and after picture – but you really couldn’t tell the difference. So here’s an after:

I love that it’s portable. I can throw it in my purse  diaper bag and touch up when I need to. It comes in a nice slim silver tube. It doesn’t take up much space at all. At first, I was pretty confused as to how I was supposed to get the lid back on without damaging the brush – but I prevailed and figured it out. There’s a white piece that slides up and over the brush so you can safely put the lid back on! Took me a little while to figure that one out!
