Tot Time: Sticker Books

Does your toddler love stickers? Mine does, and they end up everywhere! On our clothes, carpet, furniture…….

I’ve been trying to get Grady to put his stickers on paper, so I made him a sticker book to help keep all his stickers in one place!

I just used a 3-ring binder I had on hand from my college days, and added a cute laminated cover. Inside I put sheets of paper to put stickers on and page protectors to store all his different stickers. I have them organized by theme, but they don’t stay that way for very long!

So far he loves it! The book’s a mess after he’s done with it, but at least all the stickers have made it on to paper instead of all over our house.

So how do you keep stickers contained for your toddler? I thought about throwing all the stickers in a clear plastic box with a lid and giving him a pad of paper to use, but went with the 3-ring binder instead. I’d love to hear your ideas, so leave a comment below and share what you do!

  1. I like your idea a lot, Jenny! Our children have some similar to these and it makes it so easy for them to browse through their collection, and share with others. Plus, it’s a cinch to add extra pages, or pages with new themes. For our books I ran the sheets through a printer and typed the theme at the very top – for instance “Christmas Stickers.”

  2. We use stickers for rewards fr going potty. Right now the choice of place to stick them is on the toilet lid. Because what it’s made of, they don’t stick well (yes!!) but when the baby was born, my 2 1/2 yo would entertain himself by stick wrong up my legs as I was feeding the baby.

  3. What a great idea Jenny! I remember these from when I was a kid and I loved them! My preschooler LOVES stickers and she would love this.

  4. What a fun idea! I tried something similar with my oldest after she put an entire pack of stickers on my car window.
