I’m completely wearing all maternity clothes now at this point in my pregnancy, because NONE of my regular clothes fit anymore…except for maybe a few pairs of stretchy yoga pants! A lot of the clothing I have from my first pregnancy is pretty plain and boring, as I just wanted to make sure I had all the basics. I’m lucky enough to be pregnant again in the same seasons, so I’ve been able to wear it all, but it just feels so bland that I’ve been looking for ways to spruce it up and feel pretty.
While browsing through maternity clothes online, I came across Juliet Dream Maternity. They specialize in making high-end luxurious fashions for both women and moms-to-be, and have been seen on celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba, to name a few. They’re based out of Los Angeles and pride themselves on being made exclusively in the USA! What really caught my eye though, was that their pieces are made to transition through pregnancy, nursing, and beyond! I love that you can continue to wear this stuff long after the belly is gone. Sometimes it’s hard to spend money on clothing you’re only going to wear a couple of months, but this feature makes spending a little extra on high-quality pieces, completely worth it!
Juliet Dream graciously sent me their Ana Top in Coral to review! First let me say, the color is AH-MAZING! It’s bright and girly and reminds me of spring! It seems a little lighter than what’s in the picture, but still just as beautiful (and that may just be my computer screen). The fabric (95% rayon and 5% spandex) is super soft and stretchy, which is just perfect for my growing belly. I really wish you could feel how soft this shirt is! Nothing else I have even compares! It’s a little thin for winter wear here in Pennsylvania, but it will be perfect for spring!
The fit is really great, too! It’s nice and long, so it will last until the end of my pregnancy, and I’ve got some room to grow in there, as well. The cut of the shirt and the gathering at the left side are by far my favorite features. It’s an incredibly flattering cut and just makes you feel really pretty and feminine.
My one and only dislike, is that the care is, “hand wash only.” Honestly, just not my favorite thing to do! Although, it really doesn’t take that long. It’s really just a personal preference!
